Group music lessons at The Gorin School of Music provide students with an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of music. Group classes, whether offered as piano lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, or music lessons, assist students in their study of music theory (harmony and form analysis), ear training, Solfeggio, rhythmic training, and music history.
Preparatory Music Program with Introduction to Various Instruments
As an introduction to music and instrumental learning, we are offering the Preparatory Music Program: group instructions in a very small group setting, where students will learn the musical alphabet, develop a sense of rhythm, and practice ear training, solfeggio, and songs, all presented in a format of games and fun learning. In addition to creative learning in a relaxed environment, every session students will be introduced to piano, violin, cello, flute, guitar, and voice from a guest instructor (one instrument during each class). This will give students an opportunity to discover various instruments and perhaps choose one for further study.
