"The Gorin School of Music is a wonderful and possibly overlooked music school in the South Bay Area. My son started taking guitar lessons from Mr. Arthur Michelson since he was three years old and is still taking them three years later. His teacher has incorporated both technique and music theory that are really advanced for his age. My son looks forward to his guitar lessons twice a week. The lessons are well structured and my son has a lot of fun. The school also organizes regular recitals and has extremely accomplished and dedicated teachers. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wishes to incorporate a structured music curriculum for their child."
As the only local school of music accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), The Gorin School of Music also makes learning music and individual music lessons fun for the student. Located in Mountain View, CA, we offer lessons in all musical instruments including piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, recorder, and voice. Our goal is to foster a love for music while training the music student comprehensively on the skills required for their chosen musical instrument with each music lesson. A warm and nurturing environment for learning music coupled with a personalized approach and individual pace of music study allows all of The Gorin School of Music students to reach their full potential.
We recognize that every student is different, so depending on the music student's age, personality, musical ability and availability, The Gorin School of Music offers a choice of enrolling students in Music Program Track A or Music Program Track B.
The rigorous and comprehensive curriculum coupled with qualified, supportive and experienced teachers make the music education learning experience meaningful and exciting for students of all ages at The Gorin School of Music. Join our email list to learn more.

Preparatory Music Group Lessons
for children, ages 5-7 & 7-10, who are just starting their music study.
This is an introduction, before the study of any instruments. The instructions
in a group setting are very effective. The students will learn the musical
alphabet, develop a sense of rhythm, practice ear training, and sing songs-
all presented in a format of games and fun learning.
